Irvine Chapter

Irvine
Dedicated Team Members
Meet the compassionate individuals who drive our mission forward with unwavering dedication and commitment to supporting caregivers in need.

President and Irvine Chapter Leader
Joshua Lin
Hi, I’m Josh, the founder of this initiative. I started this organization because I believe healthcare workers deserve the same support, appreciation, and care that they give to others every day. Even as a student, I’ve seen how powerful small acts of recognition can be—and how much they can brighten the lives of the people who keep our communities healthy.
Fortunately, I was blessed with an incredible team, and I’m excited to build a platform that brings students and communities together to uplift caregivers around the world. Our work continues to grow from local projects to global partnerships, and I’m grateful to be able to leave an impact on such heroes through even the smallest gestures.
Thanks for being part of a mission that celebrates the caregivers who make everything else possible.

Vice President and Mission Viejo Chapter Leader
George Pan
Hi! I'm George, and I serve as the Vice President of Caring for Caregivers. I help plan our events, organize the team, and think of creative ways to educate students about healthcare burnout.
I joined C4C because I've always been interested in the medical field, and I wanted to use that passion to help uplift the people who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
Joining C4C was a good decision because it has helped me grow as a person by strengthening my communication and leadership skills.

Vice President and New York Chapter Leader
Renee Lee
Hi! I'm Renee Lee! As the vice president, I guide our New York Chapter through planning events, creating designs, and managing the activities that bring our mission to life. I love bringing people together and adding creativity as well as heart to everything we do.
I joined Caring for Caregivers to support the dedicated individuals who spend their lives caring for others. Being part of this community has given me greater insight into the effects of not addressing mental health, which furthered my efforts towards showing healthcare professionals that they're seen, valued, and appreciated.

Head of Communications/Outreach and Website Designer
Braeden Bunya
I'm Braeden Bunya, and I serve as the head of the communications and outreach within Caring for Caregivers. I orchestrate many of the events, converse with our partners and recipients, and set into motion all of our gift basket donations. Additionally, I've designed this entire website!
I am a part of C4C because of my love for the medical field. As someone who has been surrounded by many doctors and physicians for much of my life, I've seen firsthand the beauty but also the drawbacks that come with a career in medicine. I hope that through this initiative, I can have a positive impact on those who selflessly serve us, whilst also deepening my love and knowledge of medicine.

Board Treasurer/Bay Area Chapter Leader
Chloe Wong
Hello, I'm Chloe! As treasurer of C4C, I am responsible for designing the graphics of the posts on our Instagram account. In addition, I am the chapter leader of the Bay Area Chapter! I lead their meetings, guide them in planning their in-person initiatives, and consistently check up on their tasks to ensure their chapter runs smoothly.
I initially joined Caring for Caregivers because I've recognized the burnout within our medical communities, especially through hospital visits for my own family. Through this, I've developed a passion for giving back to relieve this stress for the same providers that allow us to remain healthy, and I am ecstatic to do so through this organization!

Upperclassman Representative
Brandon Chang
Hi! I'm Brandon Chang!
As an upperclassman representative, I send emails, keep a written record of the club events and minutes, and record the statistical aspects of forms and documents within the chapter.
I've seen firsthand how demanding being a caregiver can be, so C4C truly resonated within me. Joining the board felt like a meaningful way to advocate for the people who selflessly give so much to others

Outreach Manager
Chase Gress
Hello, my name is Chase Gress!
My job is to connect with healthcare providers in our area and create meetings and opportunities for us to spread awareness and provide aid.
I joined C4C because, as a child of a healthcare provider, I understand the stresses that come along with many health-oriented jobs and how this can affect not just your work life, but also your home life.
I am to make a difference and improve the lives of those who give their all to provide for us.

Film Lead and Producer
Thea Johnson
Hello, I'm Thea Johnson!
As the film lead and producer, I oversee all of the film projects for this chapter. This includes all of our social media posts and the documentary for this initiative.
I joined C4C because it seemed like a great opportunity to utilize my skills in film to support others within my community! I hope that my work will have a positive and inspirational impact on others.

Secratary
Kayla Doan
Hi, my name is Kayla Doan, and I am currently serving as the secretary of Caring for Caregivers at Irvine.
As secretary, I help ensure that our organization runs smoothly and manage communication between members. I organize deadlines and responsibilities, while ensuring that everyone stays on track. I also handle donations and fundraisers that help supply the items for our gift baskets.
I joined Caring for Caregivers because I wanted to have a platform to give back to those who give so much! I am so glad that I can show a token of my appreciation to local caregivers through the care packages we make!

Toronto Chapter Leader
Ayush Patel
Hey, I'm Ayush, and I serve as the manager of the Toronto chapter of Caring for Caregivers. I lead a team of students in organizing community events that support and uplift the hardworking caregivers who are essential to Toronto's healthcare system.
I joined Caring for Caregivers because I wanted to make a real, meaningful impact on a group of professionals whose work is essential but often overlooked.
It is my goal that through my leadership and commitment, our chapter can have a positive impact on others.

Social Media Manager
Ella Lee
Hello, my name is Ella! I serve as the social media manager for Caring for Caregivers!
I help with creating the posts that you see on our social media profiles, and I hope that my work and effort will eventually foster a positive impact on others!
I joined Caring for Caregivers because I've always wanted to find a way to give back to the community, especially to those who are in the healthcare industry. I think with the amount of work that they do to take care of their patients, it's only right that we give something back as a way to show our appreciation!
